| Visiting Professor, Beijing International MBA at Peking University President, Dowling & Associates, Inc. Dr. Dowling holds a PhD in English from University of New Mexico, an M.A. in English and a B.A from New Mexico State University. Dr. Dowling is a highly educated and highly enthusiastic educator and trainer. She is now the president of Dowling & Associates, Inc, before that she used to be the partner of The Professional Training Company. She has designed and developed manuals and course materials for a wide variety of courses, including writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. She has conducted training programs in writing, presenting and general communication skills for a variety of clients, including Intel, General Mills, Honeywell, Bernalilo County Government, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, etc. She also served as a consultant to the Department of Justice’s Office of Domestic Preparedness (OPD) Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training initiative. Dr. Dowling has many years of teaching experiences. She is now the adjunct professor at Southern Illinois University. She has taught in the University of New Mexico and the University of Phoenix. She is also an experienced writer and editor. She published two books and several articles. |
