Koen Debackere

Koen Debackere has MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Management.  He studied at Ghent University and MIT.  He is head of the research division INCENTIM at the KU Leuven. Debackere has received several international awards and nominations for his research activities in the area of technology and innovation management.  He has aughored over 70 articles and book chapters in this field.  He is also managing director of the KU Leuven Research & Development and Chairman of Gemma Frisius-Fonds KU Leuven nv, the Venture Fund of the university.
