Dr. Emerson directs the Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship and teaches the “core course” in entrepreneurship to second-year MBA candidates. He is also active in entrepreneurial, venture capital and economic development activities in Pittsburgh and throughout the United States. He is the founder and builder of three high technology companies which built combined shareholder value in excess of $600 million. He has over thirty years of high technology executive experience at VP level & above and twenty years CEO experience. He was the Chair and CEO of Arizona Technology Incubator, an internationally recognized not-for-profit business incubator specializing in nurturing promising early-stage technology-based businesses.
