As part of the great curriculum in BiMBA, the classes that really gave me the most value personally have been entrepreneurship and human resources. I came to China with a goal to open my business, and despite being really different classes, they really give you the strategic tools necessary to build your own business. My background is in marketing, and learning in these classes really taught me how to work as a team. As you know, nowadays the biggest asset is people and getting a deeper understanding to how to create with professional and how to build something from a small team to an actual company is really important. Together with this, entrepreneurship really gives you the basics to how to look into your company in a strategic way and how to be sure what you designed today is also going to work tomorrow. You can put together all the knowledge you have before to create a system of business. These two classes really gave me access to tools and knowledge that is going to support the growth of my future company. These two classes taught by foreign professors really gave me a global view to how to establish my business successfully. The reason why I decided to join this MBA is also to get a broader view to despite my background is mainly marketing to how to open and handle your business. So these are the reasons why I find these two classes extremely helpful for myself.

I still review and keep practice those key points on my daily life from time to time. Negotiation course helped me stay rational and make better arguments, and it also helped me on fighting for better terms on making deals. Professor Bruce who teaches us managing organizational behavior is my favorite professor. I think his courses gave me a strong impression not only because he is very knowledgeable, but also because he arranged for me to do a 50 page paper. I think this course allowed me to learn more about how to reflect and how to take action. What I remember most about Bruce is how he taught us to relearn how to ride our bicycle. What this means is that we should relearn how to control our lives, which also means that to re-control our lives, we must take some actions. Thanks to Bruce, I know what I want, and I learned how to take actions.

Previous Education:The University of Birmingham I learned from Prof. Ma how to look at a case analytically and how to take it apart from a Consulting standpoint.
The Strategy class at BiMBA was one of my favorite courses in the whole program. It covered a wide range of business cases, from Disney to General Electric to De Boers and I learned from Prof. Ma how to look at a case analytically and how to take it apart from a Consulting standpoint. As a native Chinese professor with a wealth of experience abroad, Prof. Ma was able to teach us from both a Western perspective and give local examples relevant to China today. I have learned a lot from Prof. Ma, particularly as he was my team’s In-House Consulting Project supervisor, where he gave us the roadmap to deeply analyze a company, its industry and environment in order to provide useful information for important stakeholders in a company. What I learned from Prof. Ma is a great asset to any consulting or research firm as well as anyone interested in starting a business in China or anywhere in the world.
- Introduction to BiMBA's Faculty
World-class business schools have several important characteristics that clearly differentiate them from their competitors. First, they recruit first-class students. Second, they expose those students to a curriculum that is challenging, that meets the standards of the leading accreditation bodies and that is relevant to the world that they will enter when they graduate. Third, they provide the necessary resources to facilitate learning, providing an understanding of the curriculum and how it can be used successfully by the graduates when they leave the school and take up employment. One of the most important of those resources is the professors who teach the MBA courses.
The professors at BiMBA are drawn from business schools around the world - in the United States, Europe, China and elsewhere. They are chosen on the basis of several important criteria. In the first place, they must have very good
qualifications. All of our faculty hold a PhD from a leading university. Second, they must have proved themselves to be excellent teachers. The third is that they must have both academic and practical experience. They must not only be experts in their field but also be able to apply what they know to the managerial issues faced by organizations. Fourth, they must have a level of enthusiasm that enables them to engage the students in the learning process, getting each member of the class to rise to his or her potential.
Students can actually immerse themselves in the material and develop very fine expertise in relation to a lot of matters, matters about which they may already have considerable experience but about which they can refine that knowledge and go out better managers at the end of the program.
